### Refund Policy for House Ninja

#### Introduction
At House Ninja, we strive to provide high-quality construction services and ensure customer satisfaction. While we aim to meet and exceed your expectations, we understand that there may be instances where a refund or adjustment is requested. This policy outlines our approach to refunds and provides guidance on how to proceed in such cases.
#### General Terms
1. **Non-Refundable Deposits:** All deposits paid prior to the commencement of work are non-refundable. This includes any planning, design, and consultation services rendered prior to the start of construction.
2. **Change Orders:** Once a project is underway, any changes requested by the client may incur additional costs. These costs are not eligible for refund if the change alters the original scope of work.
3. **Final Payment:** The final payment for a project will be considered final upon completion of the work to the client's satisfaction, as per the specifications outlined in the contract.
#### Refund Eligibility
You may be eligible for a refund under the following circumstances:
1. **Service Failure:** If the work performed does not meet the specifications set forth in the contract and is not corrected after notification within a reasonable time frame, a partial refund may be considered for the unsatisfactory portion of the work.
2. **Cancellation Policy:** If a project is canceled prior to the commencement of work, a refund may be eligible for any payments made, minus any non-refundable deposits or costs already incurred by House Ninja. (NOTE: ALL CANCELLATIONS INCUR A $500 fee)
3. **Delayed Completion:** If the project is delayed beyond the agreed-upon timeline due to House Ninja’s negligence and not due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., weather, supply chain issues), a partial refund or complimentary service may be considered.
#### Process for Requesting a Refund
1. **Notification:** Clients must notify House Ninja in writing at info@houseninja.org regarding the request for a refund within 5 days of the issue arising.
2. **Documentation:** Please provide any relevant documentation or evidence to support your claim, such as photographs, contracts, and correspondence.
3. **Review Period:** House Ninja will review the request and respond within 14 days. This review will involve assessing the validity of the claim based on the provided information and the terms of the contract.
#### Dispute Resolution
If any disputes arise regarding a refund request, we encourage clients to first address the concerns directly with House Ninja. If a resolution cannot be achieved, the dispute may be escalated to mediation or arbitration in accordance with the laws of [insert jurisdiction].
